Friday marked our much-anticipated Grand Opening of the Country Day World School north campus building! The new state-of-the-art facility has captured significant interest from the educational community as it introduces innovations in design, technology, and instruction. The facility seamlessly integrates learning spaces for core studies, such as advanced math, world humanities, robotics, and marine science, and world languages including Spanish and Chinese. Our 1st through 8th grade students also uniquely are able to benefit from latest in arts with our production studio, black box theatre, outdoor ceramics studio, and drawing and painting studio.
Our ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by students, parents, faculty, and dignitaries, was a monumental occasion for our community at Country Day School! Mayor Patricia Gerard, and Commissioner Jamie Robinson joined in hearing from our incredible student presenters and were able to see live iPad collaboration and robotics demonstrations! If you were unable to attend, please call the front office to schedule a private tour! We would love to have you share in the excitement!
