Engineers for the Day: Upper Elementary at LEGOLand

In coordination with our Upper Elementary STEM Program, Country Day School 4th and 5th grade students and faculty visited LEGOLand for a fun-filled, educational learning experience. With our engineering initiatives and programming curriculum, this experience allowed our students to apply their newly learned skills in interactive ways.  Students and teachers were able to see millions of LEGOS assembled in exact replica of major cities in America in Minitown USA.  In Fun Town,  students were able to assemble their own LEGO figures and show off their building abilities.  For four of our 5th grade “Team” students, this trip leads up to this weekend when they will be participating in the First LEGO League Nature’s Fury Challenge in Tampa at Hillsborough Community College!  Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of our team!
